GeroPsych, Inc , and Key Rehabilitation joined forces to offer an integrated, holistic treatment for geriatric clients throughout KS. We are currently speaking with multiple Long Term Care Facilities in and around Manhattan to provide /psychology/ services to the elders.
We are seeking a licensed Doctorate level psychologist or an LCSW with an interest in working with the current greatest generation as well as the coming flood of aging baby boomers. We have part time positions available, even very part time for a few hours a week, working in the skilled nursing, long term care, and assisted living setting with a skilled social worker Clinical Assistant. This person assists the psychologist in focusing on productive interventions by freeing them from paperwork and chart review. This job will involve diagnostic interviewing and follow-up psychotherapy with elders who have psychiatric diagnoses and adjustment issues.
This position entails very little take home work, on- call, etc. /Geriatric psychology/ is a significant growth area as the baby boomers come of age. The work is unusually rewarding, both personally and professionally. We will provide testing equipment, necessary training, billing services, and a positive work environment that encourages a balanced lifestyle. A full benefits package is available if desired.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Must be a Doctorate level Psychologist with an active state license to practice as a Psychologist (or eligibility for a license)
OR Must be an LCSW with an active state license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (or eligibility for a license)
Must perform job responsibilities in accordance with Key Rehab's Code of Ethical Conduct and follow state and federal guidelines.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
