Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to join our team in the oil and gas industry.
This role requires expertise in handling human resources functions within a unionized environment.
You will be overseeing all aspects of HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, and union negotiations.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective strategies for negotiating and maintaining positive relations with labor unions.
Collaborate with union representatives to negotiate collective bargaining agreements, resolve grievances, and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Serve as a point of contact for employees and management regarding HR-related issues.
Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions.
Develop and implement performance management programs, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and employee development plans.
Required:
Oil & Gas Industry experience is required.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Master's degree or professional certifications (e.
g.
, PHR, SPHR) is a plus.
Proven experience as an HR Manager in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on union negotiation.
Strong knowledge of labor laws, collective bargaining agreements, and union relations.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective HR strategies and programs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels of the organization.
