Sewing Machine Operator I
Overview:
Responsible for supporting the Sublimation production team as needed with work order flow, through daily operation of commercial sewing machines; specific to development, construction, size specifications and quality of Sublimation customer orders.
Some additional responsibilities include assisting with daily improvement processes, efficiency SOPs, and vendor supply management.
The hours for this position are Monday - Friday, 8:
00am - 4:
30pm.
No experience necessary; we will train you! Must be 18 years of age or older.
Responsibilities:
Follow established standard operating procedures to complete construction of customer orders Ensure quality standards are maintained during production Confirm orders are accurate, for quantities, fabric type and size specifications Assist the Sublimation Team as needed Identify and communicate issues that may potentially create order delays Provide ideas and suggestions for improvement of processes; participate in efficiency evaluation as needed Complete position specific training Matrix and engages in continuous development utilizing a developmental plan to further professional growth and effectiveness Uphold Champion Teamwear's Mission and Values.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously and take initiative Must be detail oriented Ability to work effectively individually as well as part of a team Ability to make sound and reasonable decisions Ability to read a garment construction tech pack Ability to compute simple mathematical equations Preferred
Qualifications:
Sewing Machine experience Familiarity of Tech Pack reading Knowledgeable with patterns Apparel design knowledge Secondary language proficiency in Spanish To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and should not require now, or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa statusEOE/AA:
