Position
Summary:
The Laborer is responsible for performing various tasks to aid daily operations at a construction site and may operate a variety of hand and power tools.
Laborers will help prepare and clean up job sites and perform other duties as directed by the Foreman or Superintendent.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of a laborer are all geared toward maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient construction site while also supporting the overall project.
The list of duties and responsibilities for a laborer on any given day may include the following:
Perform various physical duties as assigned Maintain all safety standards Moves, secures, installs, builds, loads, or unloads materials Performs some specialized tasks which may require on-the job training.
Following instructions from supervisors and implementing construction plans.
Assisting skilled tradespeople in their duties.
Attentive to detail and alert at all times to ensure safety.
Maintain customer relations by acting in a professional, courteous manner.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Position Requirements and
Experience:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma is an asset Ability to safely operate various vehicles and equipment Previous experience, especially in construction, preferred Physical Demands:
Regularly lift objects up to 50 lbs.
Ability to climb stairs and ladders, reach, squat, push and pull objects.
Ability to use various hand tools throughout the day.
Ability to tolerate working outdoors in all temperatures and weather.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
