Quality Assurance Product Specialist - Full-Time
SummaryThe Quality Assurance Product Specialist will provide continuous support to the Production Manager and Quality Team by assisting with tracking ingredients before and after production, including monitoring kitting and batching of products during production, while implementing food safety codes.Essential Job Functions:
Maintain an inventory system that identifies lot codes numbers, quantity, and expiration dates of ingredients Monitoring the rotation of ingredient inventory by first in, first use process Manage separation of ingredients for storage to meet food safety standards Kitting which includes handling, weighing out, and storing of ingredients properly, while communicating recipe specifics Maintain a batching system for processing ingredients by maintaining proper records for ingredient weighing, measuring, and batching Verify accuracy of ingredients and recipes for all processing SKUs including lot numbers and amounts of ingredients for each batch Assisting the Production Manager and Quality Team with daily analytical data that verifies accuracy of recipes for moving forward with production Completing daily paperwork such as batch cards, pre-operation and processing paperwork, including work orders with specifics about the product being produced Assist with consistency of everyday processing of quality approved products Minimum Position Qualifications/Education:
High School diploma or GED required Effective oral and written communication skills Proficient Microsoft Office skills Ability to set targets and work towards achieving daily, weekly, monthly goals Ability to work well with others and communicate issues in a timely manner Expert attention to detail and multitasking Recommended Skills Attention To Detail Communication Food Safety Microsoft Office Multitasking Profit Based Sales Targets Apply to this job.
