Job Overview:
Based in Manhattan, KS, CivicPlus has designed more than 1,300 local government websites serving 50 million citizens throughout North America. As Director of Sales, you will lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of our national sales team. Management of this team includes development of best-practices and sales processes and methodologies that maximize our ability to sell effectively. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the Director of Sales also works closely with other company leaders as well as the internal sales operations team to support the sales representatives in their process of bringing in new business.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
